The Music Lesson tells the story of two groups of young people fromextraordinarily different backgrounds, as they use the power of music todiscover each other's worlds. Ten classically trained students from theBoston Youth Symphony Orchestra leave their sheet music behind to explorethe roots of music with students from Laikipia, Kenya whose tribal eldershave passed down the tradition of singing, dancing and playing music forcenturies. With beautiful scenery and heartfelt connections, The MusicLesson shows how these two groups transcend their differences through music.
