Feature Film
Who is good? Who is evil? Who rises? Who takes the fall? In this dark, unflinching, searing thriller/drama we explore sex, guilt, lies, religion, secrets and murder, as we search for the true answers to those profoundly human questions. We also challenge the characters and audience to decide what would they give up to live with the truth.Tony is careening through life as a super-cool, black sheep under-achiever. He is the polar opposite of his square, over-achiever D.A. older brother Frank, who is well on his way to becoming the youngest Governor in history. Then, one night and with one wrong turn, Tony is arrested for the murder of a priest. A murder he couldn't possibly commit. Big brother Frank wants to come to his rescue, but Tony won't reveal his alibi for where he was at the time of the murder. As the trial gets closer, and life imprisonment or worse becomes a real possibility, Frank is shocked when he discovers where Tony was and with whom. Frank now has the alibi and evidence to set his brother free. But when this revealing and tawdry evidence threatens to end Frank's career and dredge up a very incriminating incident in their past, will Frank go public? Or let Tony take the fall? Or will Tony set himself free?

Horror
A family descends into a vortex of denial and paranoia after the death of the oldest son. Though labeled a suicide, the bizarre circumstances lead the mother to believe darker forces are at work. He threw black paint over everything reflective in his decrepit Victorian house and set an explosive trap in his bedroom. A woman from his past haunts the cemetery where he lies buried. But when the mother's investigation threatens to ruin the life of her teenage daughter and possibly her own sanity, she realizes there is but one escape from this nightmare - the very route attempted by her dead son. Finale captures mystery, horror and suspense in the colorful visual style of the 1970's Italian gialli.

In 1999, at the young age of fifty-seven, my father became one of the nearly 100,000 Canadians diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Forgetful not Forgotten is our family's story. The documentary combines seven years of family footage with my own journey as I try and understand the disease that not only took my father away from us but is now threatening to cast its dark shadow on me. Having watched my father from the day he was diagnosed I know how horrific a disease it is. My father had Early Onset Alzheimer's which is a rare form of Alzheimer's, which occurs in people under 65, sometimes even as early as 30. So now I question every time I misspell a word or forget someone's name. Through conversations with family, friends, and doctors, I hope to discover more about my Dad when he was my age and more about this deadly disease. I know we have many things in common including our love of music and the natural world. What I hope is that we do not share this disease. I will undergo a series of memory tests to try to determine if I am possibly heading down the same path as my father. Forgetful not Forgotten will intertwine that journey along with the documented footage I filmed of my fathers' last years. This will be a deeply personal film juxtaposing my father's life with my own personal issues with the possible loss of control.
